I was gone all of yesterday, but when I got back last night, I saw that del.icio.us was back on the air. I’ve seen much on how Yahoo! is repsonsible for the extended downtime, yet I wonder if it we wouldn’t have seen the same situation whether or not Yahoo! had acquired del.icio.us.

WordPress.root Category Followup
The answer to the problem with categories is in the response to a comment I posted on opml.org under the aforementioned posting. Categories on OPML/WordPress looks pretty good. Right click or Ctrl-Click on Mac to get the category popup. Pretty slick.

I trying out the new WordPress.root from opml.org. I’m having some problems with categories. I’ll have a closer look later tonight.

More on Ecto Oddity
It looks like its a feature. The posting has a delayed publication time 8 hours later.
I tried to tweek the time zone parameter in Ecto, but the postings are still set to publish 8 hours after saving the entry.
