Stupid Smilies!
It was a good idea to start blogging lessons learned as I code, but it took almost as long to post a correctly formatted entry when I ran into one problem. WordPress creates emoticons automagically. Stop [...]

New Spinal Tap film available free online
By way of Digg, “Director Rob Reiner has created a fifteen minute sequel to his mockumentary classic This is Spinal Tap. While the short film was featured at the Tribeca Film Festival in April, it won’t be released in theaters any time soon. It is available, however, online.”

Death by Emergency Plan
Here is an insightful piece by Lew Rockwell.
Of course, the next step to prevent another Enterprise is for emergency planners to request federal money to strengthen school buildings so they may safely protect their hostage. The problem wasn’t with the plan, it was that the school building was not constructed to survive a tornado.
